Minkowski follows a standard log file procedure. Log files log user visits to websites. All hosting companies do this as part of their analytics services. Data collected through log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any data that is personally identifiable. The data is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement on the website, and gather demographic information.
